What to expect on this Porsche escape

Our adventure will commence south of Sydney, where you will meet us and your fellow Porsche enthusiasts at the Centennial Vineyards Restaurant in Bowral. We will enjoy lunch together in the Vineyard Room, while you and your driving companions become acquainted. Our first driving sector will commence after lunch, taking us to the Hyatt Hotel Canberra via winding country roads through Bungonia, Tarago and Bungendore.

Upon arrival at the Hyatt, the Howard Lounge will offer a moment to enjoy a welcome drink while you check in to the hotel. After settling into your room, you will be required back downstairs to meet the coach for the short transfer to dinner. We are excited to host dinner at the award-winning Boat House Restaurant on Lake Burley Griffin. This peaceful venue sits nestled amongst landscaped gardens at the water’s edge. Enjoy fine dining in a contemporary space while recalling the day’s highlights.

Start day two refuelling with breakfast in the Promenade Café at the Hyatt, before our lineup of Porsches departs the city for a day of spirited driving. Curated especially for you, the drive will take us north, then further west, on a journey through Boambolo, a quick stop in Yass, then Berremangra and Brungle.

Our lunch destination for day two is Three Blue Ducks in Nimbo. This unique property, surrounded by spectacular landscapes and breathtaking views, will provide us with another memorable dining experience. The team specialises in seasonal menus with ingredients sourced from local farmers and artisan producers.

Driving back to Canberra after lunch will see us test the roads in the opposite direction, creating a whole new set of twists and turns to enjoy.

Take time to reset and refresh before meeting downstairs to be transported Compa in Canberra city. It is said, ‘The restaurant is built upon a simple ethos: good food and good company. The menu showcases local and seasonal produce from the ACT and Moran Family Farm’. After such a wonderful dining experience at Matt Moran’s Rockley Pub last year, we couldn’t resist a visit to another of his restaurants.
